Training: Violence Against Women and Indian Child Welfare Act

August 1, 2019 - August 2, 2019

On August 1-2, 2019 Bay Mills Tribal Court and Bay Mills Indian Community will be hosting Noojimo’iwewin a multi-disciplinary training geared toward child welfare and domestic violence advocates, law enforcement officers, social workers, behavioral therapists, prosecutors, and attorneys to implement effective service and advocacy strategies in cases involving child welfare, domestic violence, or both. In Anishinaabemowin, the word Noojimo-iwewin refers to healing others, or healing your heart, spirit, and mind of illness.
